Aye, it is indeed the birth of a new era, for I finally hauled my arse and got that router put together…. ish. Got a phone call off Helen saying she needed a pooter to do her Uni work and asked if she could borrow my laptop. After giving her the sad news that it was comatosed, I offered to salvage the hard drive and put it in the machine which was to be the router.

I stayed up all night to sort that out! I haven’t slept in more than 36 hours, but I finally prevailed… ish. (more…)

I’ve decided to get shot of Winamp 3 on the main pooter here and put v2.81 back on. I’m just more accustomed to this version, and plus it allows me to have the script in the top-left corner showing what I’m currently listening to. I’d like to improve it so that it’ll say that I ain’t got Winamp on or something…

Whey-hey! I finally completed it the other day! There was quite a twist in the plot at the end that I wasn’t expecting. I won’t give anything away… or maybe I already did by saying all of that. Oh well, no harm, no foul!

After many hours of fiddling with setting in Mandrake Linux, logging on/off root, untar-ing soo many files and drinking many a cup-o-coffee, I’ve finally got BToolkit working on the Linux machine downstairs.

Now I can do my assignment work.
