White’s poorly

My 3 year old gerbil, White, is ill. She’s having difficulty breathing and seems to just sit around dozing off with her eyes half closed. She doesn’t seem to move around much either.

I took her (and Misty, my other gerbil) to The Animal Health Centre today, a vets down the road from where i live. They agreed with my prognosis as they also noticed that she seemed to squeak each time she breathed in and out, like we would when we have a cold. She gave me some antibiotics and told me to administer it every day for the next week. Hopefully she’ll be on the rise soon. I’ll keep you all posted.
