This last week I’ve lost…


Err.. hold on… I GAINED weight?!

Oh that’s right, I threw the diet out the window didn’t I? I’m sure everyone who’s been on a diet for so long have momentary lapses in it and give in to something(s) fat and greasy! I’ve still got three slices of pizza left over from last night so I’m going to have them today, and then continue on the diet again. Let’s get this lost again! 😛

Eek! It’s slowing down pretty fast! I wonder if I’ve come to the point where I’m not eating enough to keep my metabolism going. I’ll use a few more points this week and see what happens next Monday.

This last week I’ve lost…


I’m now 12st 5.5lbs, which means…


Oh happy day! I’ve been waiting for this moment since I started this diet! I could happily go down to the Life Centre in town now and have them say to me “You’re at your recommended weight… just”.

Don’t worry, I’m not stopping now. I’ve got over 12 more lbs to shead before I get to my next milestone. That should be about 6 weeks from now.

This last week I’ve lost…


I’m half a pound away from having lost an entire stone since I started the diet, and I’m 1.5 lbs away from not being overweight anymore… and this is despite the two double cheeseburgers I had at the JNE meet yesterday. I wish I’d have taken a “before” photo when I started this diet ya know, because I just can’t see where the weight has come off. I feel as big as I was when I started.

Still… I’m half way… I’ve got another stone to lose before I reach my first target weight.

Ow! My arms ache!

Ow! I’ve been to the gym yesterday and today. Yesterday was a warm up, doing the same routine as I did before. However, today Nigel had me on a new routine involving lots of weights. My GOD my arms haven’t hurt so much for ages!! He says after a few visits I’ll get used to it. I sure hope so…

Nonetheless, I earned a few points from doing all that so I should be able to treat myself this week. Maybe with a few drinks tomorrow night at the Crown. I’ll be wearing my new Ghostbusters t-shirt so look out for me! 🙂

This last week I’ve lost…


Which means I’m at 12st 10lbs now. Another 3lbs and I’ll have lost a complete stone since starting this diet, and one more lb after that and I’ll no longer be overweight (according to the NHS). I’m also lighter than I was before Christmas.

This last week I’ve lost…


Yeah, peculiar isn’t it? I stepped on and off the scales a few times and couldn’t see how much I weighed, so I stepped on them one last time and took a photo. I’d lost a half pound, which was why I couldn’t tell how much I’d actually lost. Still though, only half a pound away from where I was before Christmas in just two weeks! Now sitting at 12st 11.5lbs I’m not far off from not being overweight anymore!

My main target is still 11st 7lbs, which is just above the middle of the BMI scale for my sex and height. I want to get there and see how I look. If I’m still not happy, I’ll try losing some more. That’s 18.5lbs away…

I’m now down to 13st precisely. I’ve had a couple of slip ups, I admit (such as the KFC on a drunken Thursday night, and the double cheese burger from a van from yesterday’s JNE meet), but weight lost is still weight lost. Let’s hope for more of the same next week. 🙂

Diet Kickstarts Again For 2008

Yup, the diet is starting again today after having almost a month off just eating what I want for the Christmas and New Year peroid! I’ve been starting to watch what I eat last week (as in, watch it go into my mouth!) so that I knew how severe the situation was, and now I can start the diet again properly.

My weight today is…

13st 3lbs

Yup, I’ve put on quite a bit of weight over the Christmas period! I have to keep in mind though, that this weight also includes the vast quantities I had yesterday like a big Pork Sunday Dinner and a big Chinese Takeaway. I had the takeaway because I knew I’d be starting my diet again today.

Hopefully the situation is not as bad as it seems, and I’ll get down to 12st 11lbs in no time so I can continue from where I left off.
